Just had the most amazing time at Casa Mestra. Surrounded by stunning nature, dreamy beaches, green forests, colorful flowers… it's pure magic. The house is built with so much love and care, and the community vibe is something special. The hospitality from everyone at Casa Mestra and in the village really touched us. We loved cooking and sharing meals together in the huge and beautiful kitchen. My favorite spots are the sun deck or the view points on top of the hill. Sunsets from there are unreal… Can't wait to come back and stay even longer

The Place is absolutely unforgettable! Nestled in breathtaking nature, it's the perfect spot to unwind and reconnect. We loved taking peaceful walks and soaking up the serene atmosphere. The highlight for us was the stunning view of the sea from the gallery – we spent hours there, simply mesmerized. The locals were incredibly warm and welcoming; we quickly met amazing people and even formed some new friendships that made our stay even more special. The nearby beaches are absolutely spectacular, offering fantastic opportunities for surfing and other water sports. Highly, highly recommended!

A wonderful place with wonderful people. Sitting directly at the viewpoint of Lira where you can see both the Carnota bay as well as the Atlantic Ocean. Lots of space for doing whatever you need to do to unwind and relax. Beaches close by (less than 5 min walk), forests and hiking start directly at the house. Will definitely visit again!

Casa Mestra is located in a very special and beautiful place. Besides the surroundings, the house itself is lovely, with every detail thought of for a very comfortable stay, and incredible views. One of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. The views over the ría are unreal, especially at sunset. The house is spotless and full of thoughtful details — great kitchen, comfy beds, and lovely outdoor spaces to work or read.

We came for a week and ended up extending. The location is magical — walk to the beach, hike straight from the door, and a warm little village around you. Casa Mestra itself feels like a home, not a rental.

Perfect for a group of friends. The big kitchen and long table made every dinner special, and the terraces gave everyone their own quiet corner. Sunsets from the top terrace are unforgettable.

A dream stay on the Costa da Morte. Everything is done with care and taste. The hosts were incredibly kind and full of local tips — where to eat, which beach, which hike. We already want to come back.

Wonderful house, wonderful people, wonderful views. Carnota beach a few minutes away, great restaurants in the village, and total peace at night. The Wi-Fi was strong enough to work from — a real bonus.

We spent 10 days at Casa Mestra with our kids and it was pure joy. Space to run, safe garden, close beaches, and the sea always in the background. The house is beautiful and full of light.

Booked as a writing retreat and it delivered beyond expectations. Silence, sea, and a huge desk facing the ocean. I've never worked so well or slept so deeply. Highly recommended.
